Question Mechanic Needed - Houston Tx

Dodge Ram 1500 6Cyl. 2002 - Needs Upper and Lower Ball Joints replaced. Dealer quoted 1400.00!!

Im looking for someone who is honest, qualified and will be able to help me maintain my truck - so I won't be left stuck on the road.

Whassamatta, is DodgeGuy not mechanically inclined? just kidding...

First off, welcome to the forum.

With 100,000 registered users here, I'm sure someone in your area will chime in before too long.

I've also copied your post into the Southwest Region section. Unlike the 3rd Gen section it's not to heavily used, but you never know, someone might see it there. So check it as well from time to time as well.

here is a suggestion. I do not know how mechanically enclined you are but you can safe yourself a lot of money by doing it your self. it isn't much more diffucult than changing a tire and the only reason why it is is due to the balljoints being hard to reomve from the spindal all you need are basic tools that go up to i think 20mm and a picklefork that you can get @ any local auto store for really cheap. if you get fromm autozone and rent it you will pay full price but when you return it you will get that back.

Hi Young lady. I have a very reliable mechanic in the Houston area and best of all he will come to you if need be. His name is Anthony Williams # 936/718-7058. He's does excellent work and shhhhh CHEAP...
