now i've done it....................
well it started about last week, or at least thats when I started noticing it.
I can only hear it with the music quiet (under level 5-6 on the stock headunit) or off.
The dam drivers seat is squeaking, when I bounce up and down going over bumps, or going into drives at an angle and shaking side to side. (probably from my big butt)
I think it sounds more like its IN the seat instead of the seat braket, I was going to try tighening the bolts that hold the braket to the floor, but now im thinking thats not it.
I am posting this to see if anyone else has ran across this yet, I will probably take a look at it next monday, I will remove the seat and probably remove the cover and track it down.
P.S. its a non-power cloth seat

I had the exact same issue you did. I posted about it here, although I had no remedy until today. Dodge replaced the "seat frame" on the driver's side, and it is golden now. No squeaks or creaking noise whatsoever. I did not watch them do it, but I was under the impression that they replaced the innards of the seat, using my same seat cushions on the new frame. I disn't get a chance to see the old seat frame either.
My symptoms were that the seat creaked very, very little when it was cold in the cab, but got unbearable after it got warm. Moving forward and back in the seat made no noise, but leaning side to side made it creak, especially when leaning to the right.
If your symptoms are similar, I would take it to the shop to get the seat frame replaced.

Second time was a couple months later, rear seatback actually broke right in the lower part of the back while playing a little rough off road.
Off came the seat cover and I had to weld that together too. I added a little bit of flat stock to re-enforce it a bit.
Oh, and for the record, ramhunter, this was in the late '90s. I was probably 230 lbs. tops, then...
