Angry Need new rear wheel speed sensor

Stealer wants 265 for labor to replace rear wheel speed sensor on top of my differential. I have read on older 2 gen rams thats its a 10 minute fix. Is this true in our 3rd gen. Why pay 260.00 for 10 minutes, there not giving me anything but a ripoff at that price. Any info can be appreciated. Thanks fella's.

if it is just the plug in sensor, then I think you can do it yourself easy.

If the WSS is build into a hub/wheel bearing like most fronts are, then it aint no 10min job

to correct myself-- this is what I show as how to fix
to remove-
Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
Remove the brake line mounting nut and remove the brake line from the sensor stud.
Remove the mounting stud from the sensor and shield.
Remove the sensor and shield from the differential housing.
Disconnect the sensor wire harness and remove the sensor

to install
Connect the harness to the sensor. Be sure the seal is securely in place between the sensor and the wiring connector.
Install the O-ring on the sensor (if removed).
Insert the sensor in the differential housing.
Install the sensor shield.
Install the sensor mounting stud and tighten to 24 Nm (200 in. lbs.) .
Install the brake line on the sensor stud and install the nut.
Lower the vehicle

thats what I show, and its on top of the diff, on the drivers side of the pumpkin above the driveshaft

I say do it yourself and save some money

you dont need the hoist, just makes it easyer.

You might not even need a jack, depends on how small you are.
