well not only are the MPH off, but the odometer is off now too... for every time i drive for an hour at what says 65mph, and should then be 65 miles, im actually going 68 miles so i don't have a true odometer reading

if you adjust your computer for your tire size it will also change the odometer. I did mine with superchips

thats exactly what im talking about... guess it's off to the stealership

superchips and those others are just too damn expensive to justify... when i win the lotto tho, im all over it!

***edit***
just called... they said $105...
can someone that has a superchip computer use it on anyone's truck with the same engine, or is there something that allows it only to work on your truck?

Default odometer reading?

Driving at 65mph and your really going 68mph then your odometer will read less miles than you have really driven. good for you when you trade it in but bad for the dude that buys it after you. So it is a question of ethics.
