I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 and was thinking about putting on a grille gaurd. Does anyone know if it is still possible to open your hood with one of these? I'm askig because the entire grille comes up when you lift the hood. The one that I was thinking about getting is this one.

 

yeah you can my friend has one its just a little harder to get to the latch

 

Yeah, any grille guard that is made to fit a Ram will allow clearance for the grille when it's being raised. I have one on mine, and I just have to reach around it to undo the latch and raise the hood up with my hand.
