Hey I was just wondering who has done this mod and if they have done it did they run into a problem with the O2 sensors or passing emmissions tests? I have an 05 4.7 and am going to put new headers, CAI, 70mm TB, Magnaflow 5x8 muffler, and I would like to get a set of hi flow oval cats as well. My ram has 45,xxx on it so I know that my cats are probably only working at about 50-60% of what they used to. I know that many people that have done this mod with the hemi's have run into trouble, but I am curious as to how the 4.7 will react to it.

 

I had to do it.....when i did longtubes 3" exhaust into y pipe and then to flowmaster super 44 muffler....I had 2 put on...yea i had o2 probs but a cheap "non-fouler" trick fixed that. Just do a search for Non Fouler trick...there is a DIY on here sumwhere.....
