Just dropped the truck back again (dropped it at the shop). Getting headlights painted and possibly have airbags installed. Here is the truck with the rims back on.

The paint is holding strong. I have washed 3 times already since I got it painted. I dont think it will ever give out the way I see it but who knows. I got everything done for 300 bucks which is a steal. But like I mentioned the owner of the body shop is a friend of my father since they were both in the 6th grade. Hahaha

And I am 28 btw. I was going to do the 6.1 Hemi swap but since I already have a Lightning I decided to make this truck mostly a show truck.

 

A 6.1 swap would be stupid against your Lightning, get the SRT-10 engine to put in instead. Show that little POS Ford who is boss.

 

I would love to do that but that would be some major $$$$$$$$$$$. The Lightning is cheaper to mod so I'll stick with that. Maybe after a few years I'll try that route. Plus the Ram still has warranty left : )

I would love to do that to my truck also. I want power and still having 4x4. In my opinion a 4x4 SRT-10 is more practical for my application than a 4x2.

 

I love the body color everything. Put a SRT hood scoop on it to finish it off. What drop is that and how much did it cost?
I dont know about the Lightning. Id rather have a Dodge because they look better modified to me.

 

Damn - the bumper painted makes it look like a whole different truck! WOW. It really looks great.
