Does any body have a pic of the inside of the hemi hat?

Has anybody ever just gutted there's? Is it possible to do?

 

I read a post on here sometime ago that someone said they gutted their hat...not sure how. I've never taken a good look at mine, only had it off once to do the plugs on my truck.

 

Found it I think dirtydog did it, chime in dam it.

never really studied my air baffle when i took it off. i was under the assumption it was hoolow with ribs inside to move the air around, quiet it down and heat it up a bit before entering the TB.

 

I did it a while ago. There's not much to it. It has walls inside if you will that direct the air and would actually help keep moisture out. I dremeled them out. I forget how the hat cam apart?????hmmmm... I really didn't see much diff. to be honest. I can't hear even the air noise because my exhaust tone is louder.

I'm thinking I had to cut it open. I'll check into it when I get back from vacation.
