Did you use the same method of using a block of wood in between the tire? And what kind of shocks did you upgrade to if any?
I used a 4" PVC cap with aluminum tape on it so it wouldn't stick to the wheel well liner when it was hot. I just heated it up until it was soft and pushed the cap to it to stretch the plastic. Worked great, it just takes a while. And make sure you check behind the wheel well liner for wires! Don't want to melt them!

I got my shocks at www.topguncustomz.com

I got the rough country shocks for about $115 for all 4. When you purchase them you can specify that you need some for 1"-5" lift and you can choose the color of the boot to match your truck.

How much did your spacers + leveling kit cost you?

I got 3" leveling keys off ebay for about $60+ shipping. And I have off set wheels so I didn't have to use spacers.

I would like to get some polished aluinum or stainless shocks. And what is the differance from regular shocks and nitro shocks and what differance do resivour shocks make?

Any brands for that? I looked I don't remember where for a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit, and it was around $80 for it.

I am getting a lot of different answers again. Lets keep in mind that since its an 04 I have IFS and not a solid axle. With a 2.5 inch leveling kit what size tires can i put in safely and with ones will rub?

His truck to my knowledge is a 1500 also, and he has the IFS. But most all people will have different beliefs, and some of it might also be between different brands of tires and their sizes.

you can fit 35x12.5 with 1/4 inch spacers and a 2.5 inch leveling kit. you have an 04 with torsion bars unlike the 06+... so you need leveling keys not the regular leveling kit. you can just crank your torsion bars up to get the level for FREE....
