i want to lift mine in a bad way. i was at the world of wheels car show today and there was a 4x4 shop advertising there. i talked to the guy for over an hour about my options. he said he wouldl really reccomend the pro comp 5.5(6 inch) kit for our ifs rams. he said its the only kit that will maintain the stock ride feel with the same cv/axle angles too. he said alot of the other kits push the wheels/tires out too much and create alot of problems. said he could install with aligment the procomp for $2800 out the door. i was very impressed. so im looking more into that. i mentoned the 4 inch rancho that i see a few guy shave and he just said procomp all the way. i figured he was bias because he was a procomp dealer. but he was also a fabtech and rancho dealer. there was another shop there too and i asked the same and got the same answer.

first of all romeo how do the irok's ride? how many miles have you got on em? do they look like they might make it to 30k miles? are they quiet like swamper says they are? I was thinking of going with those tires for mine when i go up to 37's. right now im getting ready to add 4" to my body lifted beauty. Im thinking of going with rough country (found it on ebay for 1200 beans). I would look into rancho or even the rough country because from what i understand they bolt on completely. our local 4wp guy said the superlift and procomp lifts will require some cutting. im not really crazy about the words "cutting" or "will never be able to take if off for some reason i decide later on without some metal surgery". just me though. but please do let us know about the iroks

Do it. You will obviously have to get rid of the level because a suspension levels it for ya.

OE you have a rough country, how does yours ride? would you go with that lift again? even though yours is 2wd is the quality of rough country worth it?

I love the way my truck rides. It drives like a truck now. Not like a Cadi anymore. I think for the price of the lift it is awesome.
