Lightbulb Dream Machine!

Here is the deal. I have had my 05 hemi daytona for a little over a year now and I am starting to dream more and more about putting some more power into it. I have been looking at superchargers, cams, heads, nitrous, and all the other little toys to get those extra ponies. My goal is to get the most power without going into the bottom end of the motor, maintain driveability ("it's my only means of conveyance"), and try not to give my ECU a stroke. Please let me know what yall think. Thank's for your time!

LMAO, f it, jet engine in the bed.

seriously though, what's your budget like? You planning on doing the work yourself? Any suggestions will be based on what you can afford/do.

At least you got the will to do something to it, gotta start with that. and welcome to DF!

that sounds genius, you wouldn't need a free hand to hold a flashlight!

Well my budget is 10-15 grand and yes I will be doing all the work myself. I want to get all four major mods (cam, supercharger, heads, and nitrous), but I havn't came across a truck with them all together. Can they work together without tossing a rod, or do I need to focus on an all motor setup/forced induction? Let me know!

Engine Swap lol. If you cam the hemi you have, wouldnt that increase HP by 30-35 with a good tune? So, from 345hp to 380hp. Any comments? I would also think that with a supercharger addition you would need to rebuild the engine to withstand such force and +1 if your going to have a shot of NOS. I would think with some cams, headers, bolt ons, ported and polished heads, throttle body etc etc, you could make 425 HP if not more. That would put you above the 6.1L without any supercharger or nitrous needs. Also, upgrade that speedometer while your at it who needs 120 if you got that much HP? And for laughs and giggles you should put V rated tires and bilstein shocks all around to handle at higher speeds. I would also advise to swap srt 10 springs onto your truck to compensate for such higher speeds like I did. For the springs and shocks with install I forked over 650.00. You might wanna look into getting an upgraded braking system two. Just my two cents. Good Luck with whatever you do.
