I have a 2008 dodge stx i want to put a shift kit in it what all will this require me to do to my tranny

 

i take it its a 6 spd?... just put in a better clutch and thats it :P no point in wasting the money, you dont need much better equipment.. i shift my truck fawkng hard as it is and can churp the tires all the way into 4th... aint nothing wrong with factory

 

transgo might have one for our trucks. i'll assume u have an automatic, and u just want it to shift better.

i just put a jet stage 2 on my truck, and it makes shifting amazing...stays in gear when "cruising" around 35mph for example, without dropping down into 4th...so when u wanna punch it, it's already in the right gear, and not need to wait for the downshift.
