Default Anybody with JBA shorty headers.

I have a little problem with my headers. The right side #8 pipe, i believe, is rubbing or touching the frame. The only way I now this is there is a mark on the pipe and there is maybe a 1/4 " or less of clearance. Has anyone else noticed this problem ? What can I do about this ?

You mean the right side/drivers side? chances are it's from torque. you've prob been getting on it a little and closing up that little 1/4" gap. There isn't much you can do but even though it is really out of place it wouldn't hurt to make sure that your motor mounts are in tack and not letting it shift too much.

this is jthe way to go...had the same problem on a 69 camaro a few years back... and yes it is caused from torque...it shouldnt hurt anything anytime soon but over time i guess it could wear a hole which could turn into an exhaust leak
