Hrm. I thought I saw something recently on here that somebody had to disconnect the battery for a few minutes after a spark plug change. You might want to try that.
You can also try blipping the throttle wide-open and see if it drops back to normal idle as well. Be ready to kill the ignition if it doesn't return from WOT, though.

i think.....correct me if im wrong...does that year 4.7 have the fly by wire throttle? of so try recalibrating it..i think the proper procedure is to turn key to on position, wait for all the dash lights to go out, then slowly depress the gas pedal all the way to the floor then slowly return and it should be set...thats how it says in my haynes anyway...
