that looks great! looks soo damn good on white truck. you need the super weak 3m painters tape, it works pretty good.

i used the 3m green painters tape, it seemed to take the chrome off better than the 3m blue painters tape, and duct tape really didnt take as much chrome off as any of them. scotch tape worked ok.

maybe you should try teflon tape, it dont stick much.

Great feej, now you really made me want to do it. That looks awesome. Could you post up the steps on how hard it is to do this? I want to do it, but just don't want to mess it up as I've said before. Do you have to disconnect all of the lights out of the headlight to paint them? Also, where did you get your paint at feej, and what do you paint with if it's not a rattle can. If it was in a bottle, what color was it?

They look good! The time sucks, but it is worth it. I kept the corner lenses out of mine. After thought of tinting them and putting them back in, but i just don't want to have to do it all again.. Have you thought about tinting the lights behind the grille?
