Default H.I.D. conversion

Anyone have any thoughts on a color temp of the lights I want to put in. Either 8k blue or deep blue 10k with the ballast and all from HELLA a leading name in this indusrty. What about HID Express etc. Any ideas thoughts, or opinions on lights and are they hard to install or will they ruin anything?!?!?!

H.I.D's are great but you will loose your high beams, unless your vehicle comes with four headlights. So when you go for an inspection sticker, it will not pass.

Just incase you didn't know......

I dont think its a good Idea to convert myself... on top of all the new wiring you need to put in and replace (which HID manufacturers say you dont, but really do) HID conversions are really expensive. I seriously sugguest you think long and hard before making the final decision. If I were you Id try the Sylvania Silverstar replacement bulbs first, or the PIAA Plasma replacement. You might find that just as good as HID for 1/10 the cost
