Well it is sort of simple. If it clunks when turning (without brake) it is likely ball joint. If it only does it while applying the brakes it is likely brake parts.

oh and the fuse should be a 25 amp fuse at the center row at the very end towards the engine...Id check that out and that may be the reason that code is throwing

Could even be the calipers have a problem. Maybe hard braking caused some damage. Had an old car that would clunk when the brakes were applied, the only fix was new but just a thought.
If you get that code pulled, we'll probably have that issue taken care of in no time, but the brake issue is gonna be harder with not being able to see it, and it don't sound to me like you're the type to jack that sucker up, pull the tire and snap a pic.....
