Default Floor console

I have an 05 ram with the fold-down console, and I'd like to have a full floor console. Wich of coarse will require removing the center portion of the front seat. But I was wondering if any one has any ideas, if a factory console from an 06 or later might work, If an aftermarket company makes anything , or if some one has custom built anything. Thanks

Full floor console would probably require the changing of your front seats. I believe the 06+ have different seats for the full console's.

Id look real close at the mounting system in your truck for the center seat then go to a dealership with an 06 to 08 on the lot and study that mounting system to see if they are the same. I think his name is 6_hemi_ram had made a console for his truck as well. He had posted some pics in a thread a few weeks ago. Im sure he may have some tips and pics for ya as well.

I've looked around quite a bit and haven't found anything, I'm thinking I may try building one this summer.

You can get a custom build box that has a subwoofer in it? They make them with compartments and cup holders! Just a thought....

What could you possibly need all those 12v inputs for? I don't even use the 2 up front! I could see one maybe for a cell charger. And what are all those holes up front on the driver side?

Not my cup of tea. I am very **** and if i were to build a console it would have to be finished with material to match the seats and be super neat. I would prefer a custom mold. Then again, I like my jumper seat. I use the lower cupholers all the time and that littlespace on the floor is where I keep my gloves.
The only thing I wish I could have is my little cubby hole under the factory radio that I lost when i put in a Navi unit. I liked putting my cell and wallet in there. Now i gotta use one of the cup holders for that crap.

Radar detector, xm radio, cellphone charger, GPS unit, inverter..... I'm a gadget guy so i've got tons of wires all over, although i did hardwire my xm radio's power behind the dash to tidey it up a bit....
