2.)
Any car that has been pimped out at the Wal*Mart high school car section. Such enhancements might include but are not limited to the following: a peeling do-it-yourself tint job, chain links around the license plate, plastic hubcaps (4.99 when they've been rolled back), racing pads covering the seatbelts, excessive use of window decals, a sound system right out of the Wal*Mart electronics section, an overly aggressive after market spoiler.

the only way i would like that scoop is if it was molded into the hood. but if your going to pay for that to be done your alreayd in the price range of a whole hood. your def going for a unique theme. wouldbt be my first choice but it isnt my truck either. way to be different !
bla bla bla... regarding the hood scoop... its your ride stick it on there, not everyone wants to blow $500+ on a hood with a built in scoop that serves little more than a dirt and water inlet into your clean engine compartment. I stuck my scoop on for the minimum cost of $10 for the scoop and paid my painter bud $40 to paint it. And its actually a universal scoop made by Specialty Effects Marketing, the same people that make the Rumble bee scoop for Dodge and all the mustang scoops and so on.
I thought about the whole hood thing but damn near every ram I see now has an srt hood on it, why be the same as everyone else.

It was my learning vehicle. I started the trend of the new style wheels on the older trucks. I see you got alot of chrome on your hooptie.

no you didnt... you might have been one of the first ones in here but I have been seeing the new/old 20's on 2nd gen trucks since the day the new body style came out in 2002. AND to top that off it is one of the oldest swap tricks in the world to have newer style wheels on an older model truck, I did it back in the day with chevy trucks back in the eighties. This has been around for quite awhile, nice to try to take credit for it though...
Also if you wanted a truck that looks like an SRT why not have just bought one instead of having a truck posing as one? The only difference I see is that hood.
I am not trying to come down hard on you but to each his own, if someone wants to stick a scoop on for looks, just to be different you shouldnt pick on them for it. At least they may not be going for the same look that everyone else is going for. One reason I left my truck basically stock, there are so many SRT poser wannabees with SRT hoods, bumpers and wheels running around out there now that my truck actually sticks out now since it doesnt look like them.
maybe its just me but i want a cowl hood ( not the srt scoop style, with the rise in the rear of the hood) not to many of those that i see on here. however im not going for a street truck look. im going for a aggressive look. do whatever you want to your truck or vehicle but if you post on a forum expect negative and positve responses thats what a forum is for. cant please everyone. relax viperforsale relax. im not a fan of the stock truck look been there done that (sorry viper i had to do it)
no sweat... i prefer to blend in, must be me getting older. For the last 25 years I have had cars and trucks that stuck out like sore thumbs and so far they have always gained more attention, usually negative, than I really needed. Now I go for the stealth look. Its hard to pick me out of a crowd which leaves me greater ability to speed, hide, just generally go by you relatively unnoticed. If I want someone to look at me I will drive my Neon, it makes all the cops look at it as I drive by. Or I will simply annoy drivers by riding my new Harley with the really loud pipes!

as for the hood scoop, i can see a lot of people dont like it and they also dont like my grill. well i like my grill since everyone else i see just puts on some billet inserts. i see so many of them that the factory might have well just put them on and then they go on to say how custom their truck is now. i did have a choice between my grill and one of these

i like both equally but the vertical one just stuck out more on me. it kind of reminds of some wild beast gritting its teeth.
besides, whats the point of spending hundreds of dollars on our trucks only to see someone else roll up next to us with same looking truck and accesories, only in a different color?
its like buying a $300k yellow lambo and see two next to you at the stoplight in red and green. its natural for humans to want to show off alll that they have accomplished
