Painting chrome bumper PICS
[QUOTE=chopperzen;1522505]I decided to go ahead and paint my front and rear bumpers. Everything I've read, said they had to have the chrome sandblasted. Wrong.
yeah man great idea... about twice a year I end up rubbing the surface rust out of my chrome and I am tired of it... I think that would look good on my truck so uhhh.... I am stealing ur idea lol.... thanks man

I like how you cut the bottom of the bumper a lil bit. makes it really stand out. so do you have a paint booth. or just paint in your garage? I always do rattle can paint jobs lol. I'm gonna paint the parts of my truck when I start fixing it.
We built a "paint booth" in part of the shop. It's closed off with 12' doors and filtered. I'm wanting to start doing custom work. If it works out, when we sell the house in a couple years I'd like to find something further out in the country where I can build a shop and booth.
