My breaks squeak?!
So I drive a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, with about 11k miles on it. There is a loud annoying squeak coming from the wheels, and I know it's the breaks. It almost sounds like some thing is scratching on the rotors.
When is it time to change the breaks??
Should I shave the rotors, or buy new ones???
I mean the squeak is loud and very annoying.
A little back story:
I am a married college student that works in an office. My wife also attends college, and we never off-road. The craziest thing we do is speed, or tow stuff around.
Can anyone tell me why my breaks squeak???? I mean I don't drive off-road or anything extreme, and the most weight that is pulled is never over a 1,000 lbs.
The truck is only a year old!!!

How do you think that I wore the pads out too quick?!?!?
