i got an 08 v6 for graduation hoping someone could tell me the 1/4mile times. im planning on buying a cold air intake, a banks exhaust, and a stage1 jet chip...any other suggestion for engine mods that wont break the bank.

stock is like 18.5 in the quarter. if u want a quarter mile car, stay the hell away from this truck.

A few other good mods from what others have said are a fastman TB @ http://www.thefastman.com , jba headers (airram.com), underdrive pulley from asp, and maybe an e-fan (airram.com). Search some in this forum for a little more info on them.

 

i dont think you should really be caring about 1/4 mile times with a V6.

Ha, ya. The 1/4 mile times are slow. This is an amazingly fun truck, but not a sports truck. Sorry man

my best was 17.4 with ebay cold air intake w/ k&n and flowmaster muffler, but I know it can do better next time (if i bring an air tank so i can air the tires back up), was boiling the **** outta the tires on takeoff, and would the damn tires would spin when i hit 2nd and 3rd gear(manual tranny)

 

yea, not that i don't wish i had a hemi, but **** the hemi. if you wanna throw a hemi in your truck, throw an old hemi. there's nothing HEMI about the new hemi...

 

ha ha, yeah. What about a 6.1 hemi? a Charger/Challenger hemi? Still crap?
