Did you start off with a Mygig or did you just cut the stock radio bezel yourself?? because i noticed you didnt buy one in your price list...

I'm thinking of doing this upgrade myself. Im sick and tired of the small 3.5 inch magellan gps I have. I dont think im going to go with the Mygig...chances are I'm going to end up with this Pioneer cheapo that I found one local place for $329.

So am I going to need a new navigation bezel ($100 ebay) and a double din navigation mount($25) to install this baby? I've got the stock single cd radio in my '08 right now.

I haven't had any shut offs or glitches yet. The first screen freezes up if you get finger happy, but otherwise, no problems in 3 months.
Pioneer does have a 2.0 firmware update for the lagging uploading. The dvd/navi while driving is easy in both firmware and mechanical wiring to make that modification.

Does the clock keep accurate time on your mygig? I had read that the '07 and later handle time keeping differently.
