Default Oil Leak

Hey guys,

I ususally just hang out in the background and read all the info, and end up spending money on mods. but now i have a problem so ill see if you guys can give me some ideas. Tonight i went out to take the trash out....wonderful when its 10 degrees out. I noticed a small oil spot under my truck. I got under it and looked and the front crossmember has some oil on it and the side of the oil filter looks like it got sprayed with oil. I just had the truck inspected 2 weeks ago and i havent seen any oil on the snow on the driveway. Could the filter have worked its way loose on a super cold morning? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Les

BTW i have an 04 qc with the 4.7

Simple enough way to check, buy a new filter and slap it on. Spray some cleaner to remove the residual oil and see what happens.
