Default 08 Ram fog light kit?

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram SXT in Canada. I would like to add the Mopar Fog Light Kit. There are two available: One for pre-wired trucks and one for trucks that are not. The pre-wired kit (mopar part # 82209047) is advertised for 06-08 SLT or Laramie, which I do not have. The local dealer ran my vin and said I need the kit for non pre-wired trucks (mopar part #82208102ac). Here's the thing, when I look behind the drivers side bumper my truck has wiring and an empty connector...which leads me to believe that the fog-lights are pre-wired. Is it possible that my SXT is already pre-wired? and if so...would 82209047 work on my truck even though it is not an SLT or Laramie?

Any thoughts???
Thanks,

I moved your post to the 3rd gen section for more exposure. But to answer your question. That is the plug you need to add the 82209047 kit. It comes with everything you need for the install. You may need to get the dealer to "enable front fog light output" before they will work....

SXT should be wired from the factory, I just put in the kit, very simple install. I had to go to the dealer to activate them.

I got mine from a dealer around Houston, it cost me $128
