I have an 07 1500 bought new. My left rear window makes a cracking sound when I go to roll it down. The first time it was in the shop for it was at 4700 miles. 7 trips later and now at 24500 it's still doing it. They've replaced the molding the weather stripping adjusted the motor and the window. Has anyone else had anything like this. 2 different dealers said it's the first for them. If I roll it once and it makes the noise it wont do it again unless it sits for a few hours. Plus, as it's rolling up it looks as if it's going to pop out of the track as it gets closer to the top, looking from the outside. Maybe the window is a bad mold or a defective door? Opinions please so I can tell the dealer how to fix it right? thanks

 

the track inside the door, is either loose or off center. had the same problem on my 06 mustang
