listen to trucks and get traffic info, talk to ur buddies on the trail, and alot of offroad clubs and groups use them. here in town, there are unofficial channels for different things. one channel for dirt trucks, one for concrete trucks, one for over the road trucks, etc. scales and some recycling yards monitor them in their office also. just a few i could think of...
yo man i wired it to my power seats. its soooo smooth. i wedged it in there and ran the wire right under the seat and splissed it with my power seat wire. you can do it to your battery but it works great this way. and thats exactly why i put it there..you can take it in or out or leave it cuz its really not in the way. really convenant too
man that sounds sweet. i was just wondering this morning if I could tap into the power seats, since they always have power even if the truck is turned off. I dont want to start running long wires all over the truck, ill have to check this out. Do you remember which wires you tapped?
um nooooo...id have to go look. they def have enough power though cuz i use it with my truck off allll the time
also def get a pa speaker hahaha. i mounted it in the fender well in my engine and ran the wire through my firewall and hooked it up. i yell at ppl allllllll the time ha
