I drive a QC 4x4 8ft Bd 4.7L and 10-11MPH is about what I measure if I use the mileage and fill-up computation. If I use the truck's computer I supposedly do much better: 14-15 around town and 18-20 highway. I don't have a heavy foot and the truck does have a tonneau cover. Guess ithe truck is gonna use what the truck is gonna use.

The computer on my truck has only been right 1 time in the 13 months I've owned it. It's safe to say that it's a bit on the optimistic side.

my computer tells me I'm getting 15 on average, but I drive like a jackass just to hear the Flowmasters, so no telling what I'd get if I drove like a sane individual....

It sounds pretty low. I've never been interested enough to remember to write the mileage down for an actual check (at some point with $60 fill ups, what's the point), but my computer usually shows 12-13 pure city, 16 or so highway. There are a few things you can do (if there's not an actual problem) such as switching to synthetic oil etc to get a little better, but at the end of the day these things just are what they are....we don't date blondes for their brains and we don't buy these for the mileage.
