Default True Dual Emission Q

I live in Vegas and have not been able to get a straight answer on the rules and regs on true dual exhaust. I have an '08 Ram 1500 QC 4x4 5.7L and want to put true duals w/ FM super 44s. On my '01 Ram 1500 QC I have true duals with a High Flow catalytic converter and 40 seriess FM on each pipe seeing as how back home in AL it's no problem. Most of the people out here say true duals are illegal b/c of emissions and I have not been able to find a firm answer anywhere. Anyone have a frim answer or where I can find the info? Thanks in advance for any help.

your Hemi has 2 cats, one right after each header. each cat has two O2 sensors, one before and one after each cat. As long as you leave those cats with those O2 sensors untouched, you can do whatever you want.
You will not have affected the emissions system at all. Don't stress about leaving the stock cats in, they are already High Flow cats.

Thanks for the info man. I was thinking as long as I had catalytic converters and o2 sensors everything would be fine and if I ran two 2 1/4 pipes everything should pass smog tests. Any more input?

welcome to vegas!!! I would just take it to a smog shop and see what they say. When I got my truck done, they popped the hood for a sec, then closed it, plugged into the dash, and that was it. never even looked under the truck. If you left the o2 sensors there like said before, I dont see why it wouldnt pass...
