the numbers would be different but having a built motor before teh turbo is better than slapping a turbo on a stock motor that can only handle very low boost. if i was to boost my truck i woudl want torun at least 10-15 lbs boost. your truck can only handle half that ( 5-7 lbs) with cams, gears, heads, stroker kit you can see a nice 80+ hp/tq probably see a little more on the turbo depending who tuned it and if it was done correctly. build the motor first then save for a turbo. drink crappy beer like natural ice or busch light during your college years (seeing how its half the price of decent beer) and save all the money you would have spent on good beer for your turbo haha. you will spend $5k on the turbo alone and then another $400-$500 for the sct tuner and then need to find someone to dyno tune it for you the right way..

so your sayin only 80 or so increase in hp with all that? Price wise I think that would be more than the turbo or my budget. If i go N/A I think i would do the stroker and a cam, that would probably clean me out with install.
