I live about 1 hour from JcWhitney and know the Manager there real good, and most of the time shipping is done the same or next day but only on parts that are carried at JcWhitney there other items are drop shipped from the factory and will take laonger they usally end in "F" and of course the farther you live away from Peru, IL it takes a little longer becasue of the USPS. I get a lot of my goodies from JcWhitney.

Nice mod man, are you getting bigger tires also? What are airlift air springs?
I'm getting my procomp leveling kit, longer shocks for the front regular for the rear, and moog lower ball joints installed tomorrow or tuesday.

I'm just waiting to hear from Bob at moesperformace for tires.

air lift sprins are used when you have a leveling kit (not just this situation, this is mine) and you put a load in your truck. the back end will sag so you put these one http://www.jcwhitney.com/Air-Springs...3410_10101.jcw

and u can pump them up to hold an extra 1000 pounds of cargo or to level your truck with a load.

i will get big tires soon but do you think i will need bigger shocks with the extra 2 " in the front?

I don't want to hijack the thread but I have read a little bit about the airbags. My question is how good are they for a 1500 2wd thought they are mainly for towing and heavy loads in the bed?

That's exactly what they are for. They have a huge advantage over "helper springs" in that you can air them down when not needed. With helper springs, they stiffen the back up so much that you'll bounce all over the road when not haulin...

Now im just a little upset. One of the two things i ordered (the air springs) are now not even going to be shipped until the 11th, then it takes 7-10 business days to get here. so a whole month after i order it i will finally get them. that to me is a little crazy. i did email asking them about it and asked if the item was out of stock or something but it didnt indicate that when i ordered it...

Thanks for the info on the springs.

Longer shocks for the front to make up for the extra 2 on the front and thats a yes.
And guess who I ordered through "moesperformace" ------talk to Bob he goes beyond customer service for us.
I had my stuff less than a week.

johnny.
