need some help please....
I was taking the toe targets to school today and I had the heater on with the defrost blowing. I noticed the air that was coming out started to get cold, at the same time my temp guage started to rise from the cold side of norm(witch is where it usually runs) to about half way between norm and hot. It stayed like that for about a min or two and the air started getting hot again and the temp guage went back to the cold side of norm. It did this for about 5miles and then didn't do it any more. WAZZZ UP!!! thermostat?? Thanks

I just came back from driving my Daddy around looking at a truck for my son. We probably drove 25 or 30 miles, stop and go and some highway and the guage would go from the cold side of norm to the hot side( sometimes half way to hot). It did this the entire time. I don't understand the air bubble deal. How would it have gotten a air bubble in it? I think I will change the t-stat and see if that helps.

Well, That wasn't the problem.... I feel like a total DUMBASS! Here's the story... I had had a small leak coming from the t-stat housing, well rather than fix it I topped of the over flow when needed. Well a day or so ago I had noticed that the overflow wasn't dropping like it had before. After that I started having this problem. Come to find out the radiator was very low in antifreeze because my cap had gone bad and it wasn't pulling the coolant from the overflow! Filled the radiator with coolant(about a gallon), new cap and problem solved! I'll say it again...DUMBASS!!!
