Hello. Been searching the forums for the thread on how to change the rear differential fluid on a Dodge Ram 1500. I found a thread but cannot view the pictures. If anyone has the link to view the pictures for this procedure I would appreciate it. Thanks.

 

remove the 12 bolts (13MM head) and tap on the cover with a hammer...pull the cover off, scrape off the RTV with a razor and inspect the inside of the diff....clean up the cover, apply new RTV and bolt it back on (13 in-lbs is the spec i believe...little more then hand tight) and dump in some fluid....make sure and get a bottle of friction moddifer if you have a LSD...and it'll take about 2.5qts to fill it i believe...once it starts to slowly come out of the fill hole, it's full
