Angry Transmission Problems

Ok, this truck is starting to **** me off after fixing the hit and run accident. And the power steering leak now the transmission does not want to go into overdrive. When it does this the motor will go to 3000RPM and that's it.

I don't have a clue what is causing that, but do you have insurance to foot the bill for the repairs from the hit and run? Also wouldn't the transmission be under the powertrain warranty, how many miles are on it?

I agree with all the warranty talk above.

unhook battery, go take a poop, then hook back up. maybe a comp reset will fix all

Well the hit and run was fixed free of charge and I got it fixed better then I had it. I got my grill painted the same color as well as the top bumper cover and the right fog light cover was replaced as the truck did not come with one. I have no warranty as my parents didn't get it transfered and I could get it for like a 100 a week or month I don't remember but I can't afford it as I'm part-time at UPS and going to school. So my all money goes to the payment and insurance. I will try the battery trick and get back to you.
