what can i do to get better gas mileage?
I think dirty put it the best... he bought another car.
Look, to be realistic, you have a vehicle that weighs 6,000 lbs, with eight thirty cylinders. Its going to suck down gas. I watch my fuel mileage, but i dont fret when it drops. it hits 9.2 on the overhead, i just laugh.
even worse if your truck is four wheel drive. Re-gear it, buy an e-fan, drive it nice and smile. it should only take you, what, $50 dollars to fill up?
sorry, theres my rant for the day... now wheres credit card, i need to fuel up...

I just did a drive from home to Wilmington DE and back this evening and I filled up before I left. Just filled up again upon arriving home to see what my MPG's were for the trip. After doing some calculating I ended up with 19.5 mpg. The trip was about 80% highway and 20% city. If I did a 100% highway trip I think I would have been in the low 20's easily. Point of the story being that I made the same trip back in January to the same exact store and everything and the mpg the first time was 17.3. So I picked up a solid 2+ just from the e-fan I installed since that is the only mod I have made since the first trip. It should be noted that I cruised about 60-65 the whole way bc 202 is covered in cops on a friday night.
