Default 305/50/20 stock ram

Hey guys/gals whats up? I am new to the forum but i have been searching for a while and couldnt find a direct answer for my question. I have an 05 QC hemi with the stick 20's on it. Can i put 305/50/20 on it wiht out doing anything to it? as far as leveling kits or cutting or anything along that line? Every store i have been too says 285 is the widest i can go without rubbing but i have seen people run 305's and some 295's that dont look raised or leveled or anything.
