im new 2 this site, so maybe this question has already been answered, but i have an 02 ram 4 door sport with the 4.7 with 123k miles... i got the truck this past summer and it ran fine till about december, water pump went, timing chains and guides, rod bearings, crank seal... its been a downward spiral... now the crank is making noise and i figure a matter of time till the engine is done...

my dad found a complete 4.7 out of a dakota, so we picked that up.. the guy that we got it from, said back when those 4.7s first came out they had cooling problems, supposedly there is a way you can drill out something in the head and there good, but this is coming from a guy that has no clue... i have been looking online and cant find anything about it so i figured i would give this a try... any help would be great!!!
