Ya that's when the new bodystyle is supposed to be out. I'm just wanting a stronger truck. IFS suck's as if everyone on DF does'nt already know this, and our rear ends.

I know but I need to have something stronger that will take on more than just light towing and offroading. The IFS and 9 1/4", transmission, transfercase ect. The list can go on and on, on these 1500's the more I read on DF the more I start to dislike my ride!!

I don't see what the big deal is with the front IFS. Sure it can't handle hardcore offroading. but if you're a hardcore offroader, you owuldn't have bought an IFS to begin with.

And I get that ball joints and such wear out after a while, but that's after 50-100k! change them out, and you get another 50-100k, longer if you get higher quality ball joints.

only reasons i really see to get a 2500 is hauling, towing, plowing, or serious offroad. of course if you're buying one anyway, then it's easy to justify a 2500, but i wouldn't trade a truck in and take a hit to bump up
