sorry bout takin so long to answer. I have to pull ours about5 or six miles from the lake house down to the dock and it does fine. Just keep it in pretty low gears.

I haven't towed anything yet, but the previous owner towed some stuff and screwed up the bumper.

I towed my buddys diesel on a 4000 pound trailer, then add the weight of the truck, i was pulling 50 no problem for about 25 miles, stoping was a little harder, no trailer brakes, and i have a 22ft rv i pull all over the place with it, so don,t under esmate what the v6 can do, yea i would rather have the 5.7 but i can't lie this v6 surprises all my friends,

I towed a 69 VW beetle on a full size Uhaul car trailer once from Waco Texas to Houston. It did fine. I hauled a palet of bricks that had my rear tires tucked up in the fender wells once.

I once pulled a fully loaded 26' uhaul truck out of a ditch once, and that was before I had any mods! Not bad for a 4.7, I did put it in 4 low though.
