Different exhaust question...
I want to change my exhaust but I dont want it to be loud under normal driving(ok bash away!
). What I am looking for is a low rumble when I am just running around town but when I get on it I would like it to bark at you if you know what I mean. I have searched and watched 100 videos of different exhausts and the magnaflow seems to be a great choice but you really cant hear how good it is in the videos.
What would be the best setup(muffler and pipe location) to get it where I want it? I dont really want the duals out the back and I really like the setups that exit before the rear pass side tire or even the duals out the pass side after the tire.

I just installed a FloPro Max SS muffler. It is exactly like you describe. Low rumble at idle, barely noticeable that it's not stock. And when cruising on the highway it is barely audible over my tires (and they're not that aggressive). However, when you get on it, it has a nice throaty growl, but I wouldn't call it excessive.
The FloPro is supposed to be a generic MagnaFlow. My setup was just replacing the factory muffler, I left the resonator in the tailpipe. I also went with the biggest muffler they made, a 5x11, and I think 22 long. Others on here have noted that a bigger volume muffler results in a deeper tone, thereby not being so loud and cackley. I just got mine in this weekend and haven't recorded any audio yet. I'll try to get some one day this week and post it.
