i bought this today and then look at my truck i dont see anyspace for air to go threw

what do you mean you dont see any space for air to go through? it really just directs air to the area behind your passenger side headlight( which most intakes draw the air from as well as the stock intake) its not really a ram air setup just a scoop. plenty of space for air to get through.

It basically directs the air from the grill to the area behind the headlight. Air goes through it fine, it is just the angle of the photo that makes it hard to tell.

o okay i thought i just wasted 50 bucks, i have a question if i take the bottom of my stock air box off can the airaid support its self

and thanks for the help not just on this thread but others as well i know i dont contribute at all on here becouse i dont know anything lol

I don't think that it can. The area that the filter attaches too is pretty heavy and I don't think the tube is strong enough to hold it. You woud need to fab up some kind of a bracket to support it.
