Whats up guys, new to the forum. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport, and 2 weeks ago someone backed into my front bumper and cracked it. Ive been looking for a custom bumper cover, but nobody makes one that fits the Sport. I found a Street Scene 1st Gen bumper cover but it says it wont fit the Sport, my question is whats the difference in the bumper between the Sport or Laramie and the SLT, other then the bumper cover? Could i fit an SLT bumper on my truck instead of the Sport one, or would i have to change the brackets? If anyone knows the answer, let me know. Thanks, -BlackedoutRAM

 

No, the sport has different brackets from the SLT i actually just asked that today when i was at the dealership.. inorder to switch your bumper to SLT or Laramie you need new brackets.. so prolly better off getting a replacement sport bumper.. unless you dont like them.
