you couldve gotten a price like that anywhere, dodge was so anxious to get rid of the overstock they where giving 40% off!! my buddy got a loaded 08 with a list price around 37k for 23k! not sure if you can find any of those deals anymore but its worth looking for, you just wont get the exact options you want.

'08 QC Hemi 4x4 Leftovers selling new here for about $23k while they still had them. Friday's paper here has an entire automative section, so it's a good day to look. I've got two local dealers each list a used '08, both under 15k miles. One lists for $19,995 and the other for $18,995. And you know you are gonna at least get a couple grand off of their listed price. Now do you honestly think $17,980 is a great price for an '07 with 31k miles on it?

Thanks for reminding me how little my truck is worth these days. At least I know I'll own it forever.

Two years ago I paid $20k with 45k miles and it was a good deal, esp. since I had to have a white Laramie 4x4.

I'm still happy though - it's been flawless and after a little scheduled maintenance it'll be ready for another 60k miles and more mods too!

Oh - btw - the truck in the ebay auction has the automatic transfer case. That's a nice option to have.

I really appreciate all the help I've been getting here. I've been searching all over for a better deal. I agree the truck on ebay is overpriced. The problem is all the trucks I'm finding that are better priced also have less options and aren't as "clean". I'll keep looking. I have offered the guy a much lower price, so we'll see what happens.

I see the point where a guy might just bite the bullet and go for a new one. But my use of a truck is just a second vehicle. I use it for hauling cave diving gear, camping, pulling a boat some in the summer and when it snows. It just sits a lot. So I really just want to keep the price at around $16k or lower.

Keep the advice coming. I'm learning a lot. Really glad I found this forum.

i would offer him 15,500 for it and ask him to throw in a couple of free oil changes, i used to sell used cars and trucks back about 10 yrs ago or so. I can just about guarantee you he gave low price trade in value 11,500-maybe 12,800.Anyways that would get the ball rolling. best of luck to you
