Default Headlight on permanently ???

Hi,
Its a new truck to me and im still working things out.
04 Hemi 1500 Rumblebee.

Can the headlights be turned out, or is this a permanent fixture.?

I live in England near Oxford and this is a intimidating truck over here. Headlights beaming in your rear view mirror, in our little cars, is a little scarry. The locals are crashing there cars to get out of my way ... !!! Its already yellow and load so no need for the headlights during day time, I would think.
Also I think its dangerous as the rear lights dont come on as well, so at night time you could forget to turn your lights on and thus have no rear lights.
On the other hand, great for getting away from coppers, at night. lol.

DRL can be enabled and disabled by the dealer.

Only way I know about that doesn't involve re-wiring. If you wanna re-wire, Just install a switch on the power or Ground wire going to the lights.

I wouldn't worry about blinding other cars. Bigger vehicles are going to shine higher. That's that. As far as the back lights, no one should be running into the back of you or in your case, running under neath you back there...lol Just because your DRL's are on and you have no rear lights, you do when you hit the brakes! That's what matters the most.
