Jump seat swapped,wiring question

Jump seat swapped,wiring question
I just swapped out the jump seat for one with the storage in the top and the one under the seat. the question i have is the top unit has a 12V power outlet i have no extra wires under the seat only the ones for the seat belt.
if i have to run wires under the vinyl floor mat what kind would last and not short out and were would be a good place to connect to?
