Lights behind the grill???
Post #18 https://dodgeforum.com/forum/off-roa...oad-guide.html
I did that write up a few months ago. I chose to upgrade the wiring for brighter bulbs and run a direct switch. Me as having a 2008 Ram, my headlights are 55w and my fog lights are 55w, so I essentially already have 4 hi-powered lights going down the road. Are 2 more 55w lights going to make that much difference on top of what it is already???? I wanted stand-out brightness. I must say that in broad daylight with my truck parked against a brick wall, could I see either the low's or the high's when flickered. I turned on my 100w bulbs and it was clearly apparent they were shining bright enough on the all to see as if it was getting dark out.
Any bulb of 100w or higher...130w/150w, will make a drastic difference as far as output over the factory beams. The output of the 100w lights is much brighter than all 4 of the stock put together! I say no more. Imagine 150w bulbs??
I would highly recommend a wire upgrade for any higher wattage bulb, unless it's already equip with heavy duty wiring.

Thanks Teach. I'm realy suprized they didn't do the Edge for the other years of the HEMI, mabey soon.

I have some Hella 500s, but am still waiting to post mine on. Waiting for some more daylight and warmer nights/late afternoons.
i bought a pair of hella's on ebay for 35.00 plus shipping and hard wired to the battery, really easy install, i went off a DIY here on the forum. I took the person who wrote the DIY advice and ran 12 guage wire and 30 amp fuses along with a 30 switch, so i can run 100 watt bulbs.
