thats a good point hammer...1" blocks would be alright. If you can get the lift you want out of the shackles, all the better. just the ideal of a "block" mixed in the rear axle with axle wrap, wheelhop, etc. that goes on back there automatically deters me...but it really is the larger blocks you have to worry about.

Or you can go with an add-a-leaf?? I have 3" torsion keys, 3" body lift and 3" add-a-leaf. It makes the rear sit higher at first, but once the leaf gets broken in, it will settle at about a 2" lift.

I have 3 inch BDS blocks and BDS U-bolts. The shop I bought them from told me that he put the kit together himselft. (Bought the blocks and U-bolts directly from BDS) He said not companies make a block kit for the newer trucks yet.

Thats bs. If your truck still has the 9.25 axle, you can use any block and u bolts. Just as long as the bolts have the right dimensions.

I bought a 2 inch block kit from Advance Auto Parts and had new U bolts made at a local spring shop.

Rough Country offers a set of 1.5" rear blocks with some of their leveling kits.

Example: http://www.roughcountry.com/dodge_4wd_leveling_kit.html

I'm sure you could just get the blocks from them, if that's all you needed.
