I would put my money on a plug wire!! I had the same problem runs fine, idle no problem then up a hill or kicks down a gear it stutters and chokes on itself. Its a plug wire, took me 2 weeks and 500$ to find out what my problem was almost 7 months ago

That is really strange that its not throwing codes. Like I said check the plugs, They can tell you alot. do a google search for spark plug conditions there is a chart that will give you all the possibilities.

start your truck, parking break and block the tires crawl under and put your hand on the exhaust pipe all around it down the length (not touching just over so you dont burn yourself) feeling for leaks, my bet is either a leak at y-pipe, inlet/outlet for cat or inlet/outlet for exhaust if there isn't a leak that you found new O2 sensor.

not necesarily. its hard sometimes to internet diagnose stuff. it was just kinda a guess for something to check.could be timing chain, o2 sensors,tps,plugs,wires,cap,button,plugged cat,fuel pump, just to name more than one.

thanks guys i was gonna change the plug wires today but i think i got the flu so i wont be able work it until thursday hopefully!! if u got more ideas let me know!!! wut kind of plugs and wires should i go with. the motor is a 360!!!

msd 8.5 superconductor wires and autolite 3923's is what i use. works good for me.

its finally runnin right now!!! i changed the plugs and wires and it runs like new!!!! wut i thought was funny is that my #7 cylinder wire wasnt connected to the plug!!!! thanks guys for ur info!!!
