Has anyone had issues with true lock rear end failing. 29,000 and now at 59,000. The only way you know it's bad is when it's time to change the fluid. The retaining clip falls out of the clutch pack and then gets ground up. Sad thing is you don't see a performance change

Evidently there are a lot of problems with these conveyed on this site. Check "common issues" section and do searches.
Some say just remove the clips and others say repair and hope for the best.
Then too one could exchange the LSD for an open end or if money is not an issue install an aftermarket LSD.
