Default Spark Plugs and wires suggestions

I'm looking into making my truck faster. Besides a cold air intake, I've read that changing the plugs and wires is a good start. Some suggestions would be nice, along with any other ideas on what I can do. Maybe changing the fan to an electrical one? I haven't looked yet, not sure if there is a kit for that.

besides CAI, exhaust, headers, e-fan, 180 t-stat, tuner, full synthetic in engine tranny and diffs, and a few other minor things. is your truck lifted? bigger tires? you may look into doing a 4.56 gear swap which wont add more power, but it'll make it a lot easier for that power to hit the wheels.

plugs/wires is ok, but you're not gonna get much gain from it at all, unless they need changed anyway. That being the case, the stock champion sparkplugs is actually what the hemi likes best

Welcome to the DF by the way. Theres an awesome search function on here that will most likely answer all your questions without cluttering the forum with new threads. If you cant find the answer anywhere, start a new thread. There are literally hundreds of previous threads on this same thing though...how to add more power. Do a search and you'll get faster answers

as for plugs and wires making more power or anything, doubtfully. but it is a needed maintenance item. I used NGK V-Power 5306 plugs, and taylor thundervolt shorty wires. All in all its a pretty easy job changing all that out. dont let the # of plugs scare you.

always used champion plugs in everything, why bother to change now.......if you want more power, like AF Hemi said, you need to start with the basics and go from there.....an e-fan install is pretty simple and seems to give pretty good numbers in terms of HP & Torque increases
